Traditional Steak Strips are our oldest and best-selling product...this is what we do best. The West Family tradition continues through three generations. Our recipe is basic; we source the best beef inside top rounds in the Northwest and use simple, clean ingredients. We carefully trim any fat, then we marinate and smoke them slowly over hickory chips. Everything is done by hand. There are no shortcuts to a really great smoked steak strip.
Moist and tender with simple ingredients. Featured on Good Morning America and Food Network. This year, the New York Times gave our strips the silver medal in their review of gourmet jerky. We would have preferred the gold medal, so we’ll work on that for next year.
